Mineral Hill, Nevada

Mineral Hill is comprised of 9 patented claims, 160 acres of homestead lands and 20 unpatented claims or approximately 540 acres.  It is located within Eureka County, Nevada.

Historic production began in the late 1800’s and continued to 1939.  Based on historic records, approximately 1,000,000 ounces of silver, 5,000 ounces of gold and substantial associated copper, lead and zinc were produced over a period of 70 years.  Mineralization is hosted in shallow dipping breccias developed in Devonian Devils Gate limestone, along the contact of upper and lower plate, and within altered dikes.

More recent exploration includes Union Carbide in the mid 1960’s and Santa Fe Minerals in 1980-83.  Union Carbide completed 3 core holes for 490 meters.  Santa Fe drilled ~1690 meters in 28 drill holes.  Drill intercepts include up to 1.5 meters grading 0.11 opt gold and 1.5 meters grading 35.2 opt silver.

Recent surface sampling by MinQuest has identified gold and silver mineralization peripheral to the old workings, gold and silver in low angle breccias south and west of Mineral Hill within the unpatented claims and gold and silver in dikes cutting easterly across both patented and unpatented claims.  Gold values from outcrops range from 0.1 to 5.2 g/t and silver from 50 to 1215 g/t.

Drill ready targets include possible karst replacement zones within limestone, high angle faults with silver, gold and base metals, and argillized intermediate dikes with silver, gold and base metals.
